Inspired by real events and produced by Fair-Play (Revolution, 100 geniuses) in collaboration with Quebecor Content, this drama in eight episodes will tell the story of Kevin (Charles-Aubey Houde), a debt collector who decides to leave the criminal world when he learns that Julie (Chanel Mings), his lover, is pregnant.
Claude Legault will play the hero’s uncle, on whom the latter can always count. Caroline Néron will play her mother. Guy Nadon will play the role of “Santa”, the head of the criminal organization for which Kevin works. Alexandre Nachi, Pierre-Paul Alain, Loic Oliviera and Bobby Beshro complete the cast.
Filming will begin at the beginning of March, Club illico announced on Monday. The series, expected in 2025, is written by Ludovic Huot (Walk in the shade) and Charles-Étienne Brassard. Marc-André Grondin is one of the producers, with Véronic Charron and Jean-Philippe Massicotte.
