A woman and her daughter, who lived near the explosion before recently moving, come to see if they can help. Another resident, who lives a little further, is worried about the relocation of evacuees.
Forty buildings evacuated
The night was difficult for all residents. From this balcony, nothing will ever be the same for a retiree, still in shock. “I lived as if a bomb had exploded. I saw the flames, helpless, thinking that there were people who were buried under this rubble”, says the resident. Around the collapsed buildings, around forty others had to be evacuated. In the Camas district, several hundred people will still have to live long nights of uncertainty.
