The 22-year-old American has kept all his style despite the blue jacket by wearing a “bucket hat” of the same color. Not too diminished by his time under the knife, Caufield waved at the camera in an Instagram post embellished with the words, “Back soon.”
The dynamic forward’s 2022-23 season ended ahead of schedule after it was deemed best to address his lingering shoulder problem before the injury worsened. Prior to his stint in the infirmary, Caufield was the Habs’ second-leading scorer with 36 points in 46 games, including 26 goals.
In a press briefing last week, he explained that he was injured just before Christmas. He should be back in time for the Canadiens’ next training camp in September.
