Justice will again investigate criminals sentenced to life imprisonment. Have they revealed all their dark secrets? New investigations will attempt to provide answers to questions left unanswered.

How many cases no elucidated arethey mixed up? For years, judges have suspected them of other crimes, without having been able to prove their involvement. The files were therefore closed. But in Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine)the magistrates of the pole cold case decided to reopen them and retrace their criminal journey.
Specialized investigators will now try to reconstruct the life of each of these criminals day after day, to find out if their route may have crossed the life of a victim. For this, they will be interested in their frequentations, their homes and their vehicles. This is the case for Patrice Lightheartedsentenced to life for five murders of women and six rapes. Something to give hope to families, like that of a 22-year-old student murdered in 1990. Suspected, Patrice Lighthearted had not been prosecuted for lack of material evidence.
