The 31-year-old center has been on the Bettman circuit since moving there full-time in 2013. Most recently, he spent two seasons with the Buffalo Sabers, recording 12 points for 69 parties during the 2021-2022 campaign.

Eakin, a former Washington Capitals third-round pick, played 30 games with the Capitals before being traded to the Dallas Stars in a trade involving Mike Ribeiro in 2012.

Chosen by the Vegas Golden Knights in the 2017 expansion draft, he spent three seasons in Nevada before making a short stint with his hometown Winnipeg Jets.

Recognized as a penalty killer, Eakin won 56% of his duels in the face-off circle last season.

He has 110 goals and 256 points in 701 games on the Bettman circuit.
