Club illico launches its new series by Érika Soucy, Pearls. It will be the actress Bianca Gervais who will play the main role.

It is alongside Cassandra Latreille, Anouk Tanguay and Sharon Fontaine-Ishpatao that she will play Stéphanie, a single mother of two young girls, Laurence and Juliette.
The romantic comedy takes place in a small village on the Haute-Côte-Nord. The series comprises 13 short episodes, and explores the realities of single parenthood, early motherhood and female solidarity. As rumors swirl around the village about her, Stephanie leaves with her daughters in search of a better life.
Produced by Encore Television in collaboration with Quebecor Content, filming for the series will begin this summer, confirms Club illico in a press release.
