It is not just natural resources that are suffering from climate change. The portfolios of the cities too, pleaded Friday of the municipal elected officials of Quebec.

“We will certainly be at the front to tell the government, particularly on climate change, we must go faster,” said Quebec City Mayor Bruno Marchand on Friday.
The issue once again occupied a good part of the discussions, during the last day of the Assises of the Union des municipalités du Québec. A large forum on the climate issue was also held on Friday. Experts and elected municipal officials took part.
