Before a summer of 2023 which risks being marked by severe droughts, some winegrowers are trying to take the lead in Corsica. Some plant the vines higher in altitude, others diversify their crops.

In a mountain landscape on the heights of Balagne (Haute-Corse), Corsican winegrowers are shaking up their habits, planting vines at more than 800 meters above sea level. Their family farm, 600 m below, suffers from climate change and lack of water. At higher altitudes, the drought should be less severe and the rains more abundant.
