Cleveland Browns | Myles Garrett still out of practice

(Cleveland) The Cleveland Browns have a long list of injured players, which is rarely ideal for a club that also has a long list of other issues.

Reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett is one of several key players in the organization who did not practice Wednesday because of injuries as the Browns (1-2) prepare for Sunday’s game at Las Vegas.

Garrett is dealing with injuries to his foot, Achilles tendon and hamstring. He struggled to finish Sunday’s loss to the New York Giants.

He explained that his foot injury had been bothering him for several weeks and that it was in trying to compensate that he inflicted the other injuries on himself.

Head coach Kevin Stefanski has not yet removed him from his roster, however.

Starting right tackle Wyatt Teller was placed on injured reserve for the next four games. Teller was one of three offensive linemen injured in the game against the Giants. Teller suffered a torn medial collateral ligament.

The loss of Teller is a blow to the Browns’ struggling offense, which has produced just 50 points in three games and hasn’t protected quarterback Deshaun Watson, who has been sacked 18 times.
