Tears, he did not shed this Tuesday, October 25, during his meeting with Raphaël de Casabianca on France 2 in Our unknown lands, but was not very far from it.
The ex-candidate of The Voicewhich enjoys, since its participation in the tele-hook of TF1 of a remarkable career, accepted the invitation of the French photographer and director to go to the Vercors. “It’s been a long time since I’ve done this, walking so long”, confided Claudio Capéo to his sidekick, the time of a broadcast, from the first minutes of the episode. Raphaël de Casabianca, meanwhile, grabbed his “guest’s” laptop to allow him to disconnect and fully enjoy the experience. A “confiscated” object which does not seem to have bothered him: “It’s useful for calling my parents, my wife and my children. Every evening, a little phone call. This time, it’s not so bad!”.
The one who supported him from the start
But it is when the artist sits down and talks with a family from Vercors that the emotion really takes over. A moment that Claudio Capéo chooses to speak openly about his career, his life, but above all without a wife, to whom he owes a lot.
“There, we have time. It’s been six years that I no longer have time like this […] Even when I have time, I don’t take it anymore”he recognizes a bit moved before adding: “I’m still in the job, I love it. But in six years I’ve really lost myself, because it’s going super fast […] But I had my family, my wife, my kids”. And maybe he wouldn’t be where he is today without Aurélie, his one and only wife. “I have been with my wife for 18 years. She’s my very first and she’s the woman of my life, that’s for sure. Without her I am nothing“he admitted very close to shedding a few tears because of the overflow of emotions.
