“He put me on the bed, he tried to tear off my blouse”
Sophie Darel reports that she was invited by the star, who pretended to show her his latest air humidifier, and attacked by the latter. She remembers: “So I go there, with his secretary, and then suddenly, things completely changed. He put me on the bed, he wanted to tear off my blouse, etc etc… So there was his secretary who was there, he said to him ‘get out of it, but get out of it’, to me ‘no, no , stay, don’t go, don’t go’. So it lasted for a while. He did not rape me, I want to say that.”
And nevertheless add: “He really wanted it and then after a while, he saw that it couldn’t be done, I didn’t want to be with him. Mike Brant yes, then he no, who knows why!” And what happened next may come as a surprise: “And then he laughed and said to me ‘you don’t know what you’re losing'” reports Sophie Darel.
The host admitted that being unknown at the time, Claude François had no fear of acting in this way. Subsequently, the interpreter of “As per usual” never tried again, and was invited on his shows. Sophie Darel reports that he made her carry baskets of fruit on several occasions and that he also said to her, as a joke: “you lost a great moment of happiness”.

A sequence which would probably have caused a scandal today, and what’s more, the host assures that it is not “not the only one he did it to”, notably citing Stone, alias Annie Gautrat, as a victim of Cloclo. Regarding her behavior, Sophie Darel believes: “he was so successful with girls that he must not have understood why from time to time it didn’t work”.
