Claude Brasseur: His widow Michèle madly in love with him until his death, revelations of their son Alexandre

On December 22, 2020, Claude Brasseur left us at the age of 84 following a stroke. The hero of the saga Camping– TF1 broadcasts the second part this Sunday evening – left behind his son Alexandre, his grandchildren Louis and Jeanne as well as his wife and widow, Michèle Cambon-Brasseur who accompanied him for fifty years. During the funeral of Claude Brasseur in December 2020, his son Alexandre had paid a vibrant tribute to the one who disappeared the same year as Guy Bedos, his partner in An elephant cheats a lot and We’ll all go to heaven : “Death is sad but life is beautiful. And God knows he loved her brazenly. You told me that your only ambition would be to be part of the nostalgia of tomorrow. from yesterday. Thank you Dad! We love you.”

In an interview withParis Match on December 30, 2020, a few days after the death of his father, the actor of tomorrow belongs to us on TF1 took the opportunity to deliver a few words about his late father: “He was often convinced that I judged him. I never judged my father. In his place, perhaps, sometimes, I would have done worse. We must not judge, we must seek to understand, to accept. I loved my father unconditionally. I will always remember the warmth of his hands when he vibrated. He was hot. He was alive.”

“My father was pampered, caressed, pampered and surrounded”

In this same interview, Alexandre Brasseur also underlined the longevity of the couple from which he came. A longevity which is largely explained by the mad love that Michèle Cambon-Brasseur felt for the one she married in 1970, as Alexandre Brasseur recalled:“My mother Mimi, a saint, was the woman of his life for more than fifty years. She stayed with him and offered him mad love until the end. My father was pampered, caressed, pampered and surrounded . I wish everyone could leave as he left.” Before Michèle Cambon-Brasseur, Claude Brasseur had been married to the model, stylist and journalist, Peggy Roche (deceased in 1991). The latter was then put in a relationship with the novelist Françoise Sagan (died in 2004).
