It was a final at the Stade de France which was heralded as legendary. On the one hand, there is South Africa. On the other, there is New Zealand. The two rugby enemies are aiming for a historic fourth crown. “I want to take the cup home”, says Richie Mo’unga, player of the New Zealand XV. “We are going to win tonight,” says a South African supporter.

Disappointed French supporters

The South African fans are the loudest and most numerous. There are also French supporters, disappointed and sad not to see their team play. To their dismay, some ended up choosing a team to support. This is the last match of a Rugby World Cup so far without a hiccup, the final rehearsal before the Paris 2024 Olympics.
