Clara Luciani, in tears, pays tribute to one of the men in her life

Clara Luciani was this Sunday November 6 one of the guests of Frederic Lopez in his new Sunday show Sunday in the countryside on France 2. Tatiana de Rosnay and Jarry were also present.

During the show, Clara Luciani returned to her childhood memories and her relationships with members of her family, in particular his grandfather died of Covid-19 in February 2021. The 30-year-old singer was able to see in the hands of Frédéric Lopez a copy of the local newspaper Provence which his late grandfather read frequently.

But above all, she was surprised to find in this newspaper a packet of chocolates. The singer could not contain her emotion. “My grandfather used to do this to me all the time.she expressed with tears in her eyes. When we went to get the newspaper, he always stashed Maltesers in it. And it took me a very long time to understand that it wasn’t a fairy or I don’t really know what was putting that there, but that it was him. And then later I ended up having articles in Provence and I found out very late that he cut out all the little items in Provence and that he had made a kind of altar behind his chair where he spent most of his days. There are acts that mean so much: ‘I am proud of you’ (…) In my family, we are very modest. We find it difficult to say certain things to each other.”

Everything I do from now on will be dedicated to him

Very close to his grandfather, Clara Luciani had already paid tribute to him in February 2021 by sharing on Instagram a photo of her and him together.
