Aleksandra is a month and a half old and she already has to flee the war. In 40°C heat, in Pokrovsk (Ukraine), her family waits for the bus that will take them to the station, the first stage of a forced exodus. The Russians are 10 km from the city. The departure is rushed and the buses are packed. Little Aleksandra and her family are now refugees.

A train has been chartered especially to evacuate the most vulnerable inhabitants. More than 600 people have to board. In the carriages, the stifling heat mixes with the anxiety of departure. As the train prepares to leave, outside, only Natasha remains. A doctor, she must stay in Pokrovsk. For her, it is time to say goodbye to her grandson. There is only one train like this that leaves the city each day. According to the authorities, the inhabitants have one or two weeks left to evacuate before the Russians get too close to Pokrovsk.
