In the context of the serious crisis that Europe is going through and which must mobilize everyone, the inhabitants of the agglomeration of La Rochelle have massively asked the town halls to support the Ukrainian population. The City and the Agglomeration Community of La Rochelle have worked with the Civil Protection of Charente-Maritime which will organize a collection of equipment at the Parc des expositions.

Anyone wishing to lend their support can go to the Parc des expos, located at 1 Rue Henri Barbusse. This operation is carried out initially from Thursday March 3 to Sunday March 6, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.. This period may be extended.

A ballot box at the town hall

The City of La Rochelle makes a ballot box available to the population at the reception of the town hall, in which it will be possible to deposit donations in cash or by check, payable to the town hall of La Rochelle, will be fully donated in equal parts to Doctors Without Borders, Doctors of the World and at High Committee for Refugees.

Bank transfers are possible with the major national associations which intervene to help the Ukrainian population, namely among others the Secours populaire français, the Red Cross or the Civil Protection.

Motion to City Council
