Cirque du Soleil will pay tribute to RBO next summer

The humorous group Rock et Belles Ears (RBO) will be in the spotlight during a Cirque du Soleil show presented next summer in Trois-Rivières.

This new event in line with the Cirque du Soleil tribute series will be on view from July 17 to August 17, 2024 at the Cogeco Amphitheater.

Organizers indicate in a press release released Thursday that the show will “highlight the iconic art and music of RBO.”

We promise that spectators will find in this event the “unifying side” of the group.

The RBO comedians said they were “honored and humbled” to be featured in the show.

“The members of the group have been called clowns for over 40 years! “, they added with humor.

Fans of the group can purchase tickets now.

The group, composed of Guy A. Lepage, Richard Z. Sirois, Bruno Landry, Yves P. Pelletier, André Ducharme and Chantal Francke, has been honored several times in recent years. The group notably received the Medal of Honor from the National Assembly in 2011.

In recent years, several groups and personalities have been honored in the Cirque du Soleil Tribute Series, including former hockey player Guy Lafleur, Les Cowboys Fringants and Robert Charlebois.
