In an astonishing communication, Cirque du Soleil announces its association with Flower Shop Perfumes Co. to launch an eau de parfum.
The eau de parfum, which was designed in partnership with the Swiss perfume house DSM-Firmenich and its perfumer Alexis Grugeon, is available online from this Wednesday.
The link with the Cirque’s activities is tenuous, if not non-existent, but is part of its offering of derivative product services. “Like the elaborate shows of Cirque du Soleil, its eau de parfum offers a journey that elevates classic olfactory notes to dazzling new heights, weaving a delicate synthesis of bergamot, red apple and cotton candy, iris and freesia, buttered popcorn and warm sandalwood, vanilla pod and caramelized amber,” explains Cirque in a press release.
The glass bottle, topped with a striped gold cap, represents a large sun rising above the moon. Each 100ml bottle retails for US$195.
