Cirque du Soleil | Kurios will be resumed next summer

The show Kurios, Cabinet of Curiositiescreated in 2014 by Michel Laprise, will be repeated on May 23 under the blue and white big top of Cirque du Soleil.

It is now part of the new direction of the Cirque, which alternates from one summer to the next between a new creation and a revival. This time, the management has chosen to highlight the ten years of this production, presented more than 2,500 times since its launch.

Kuriosinspired by steampunk – a mix of science fiction and technology – explored the great innovations of the 19the century, both in the field of communications and in that of transport. From the bellows camera to the telegraph, including the gramophone, aircraft and railways. All the imagery evoked the crazy worlds of Tim Burton or even Jules Verne.

Around fifty artists are part of the cast of Kuriosincluding the presence of a Lilliputian, Mini Lili, who had marked the creation ten years ago.
