The 4th edition of Cineroman Festival, which rewards films based on novels, was coming to an end on Sunday 9 October. Big names in French cinema were thus brought together at the cinema Pathé Gare du Sud of Nice for this last day, marked by several sequences. First of all, François Cluzet – who made an impression in 2011 for his famous duet with Omar Sy in the cult film Untouchables – was unanimously designated by the jury as an artistic personality having, through his work and his presence, contributed most strongly to the image of the Côte d’Azur.
A reward he received alongside his wife Narjiss Slaoui-Falcoz, with whom he notably posed with a smile, trophy in hand. As a reminder, he married this former communications director of the legendary Carlton hotel in Cannes in July 2011, after having said “yes” in the past to producer Chantal Perrin, with whom he has a daughter Blanche (born in 1984). Without forgetting his old romances with the deceased Marie Trintignant, the mother of his son Paul (born in 1993), and with Valérie Bonneton, mother of his two children Joseph (2001) and Marguerite (2006).

In addition to this very remarkable appearance, it is also with the preview screening of Bruno Chiche’s film, Master(s), in the presence of his team made up of Yvan Attal, Pierre Arditi, Caroline Anglade and Pascale Arbillot, that the Festival was over. Nine films based on novels were presented in competition in front of a jury chaired this year by Danièle Thompson, who is notably the daughter of director Gérard Oury and actress Jacqueline Roman, as well as the daughter-in-law of Michèle Morgan.
Finally, it is difficult not to highlight the presence of François-Xavier Demaison for this final day, which was immortalized at the photocall of the film The trade unionist at the Hotel Negresco. He was not accompanied by his wife Anaïs, with whom he nevertheless lives a waking dream since he has just welcomed his first child together with her, when he is already the father of a 15-year-old daughter called Sasha and born of his former union with his press officer at the time.
