In 2016, in his autobiography, Michel Polnareff accused Christophe Rocancourtpresented as “the crook to the stars”to have him stole over $250,000. Accusations that the man repeatedly condemned by the courts had firmly contested, and against which he then filed a complaint for “insult” and “defamation”. Christophe Rocancourt wanted to point out that American justice has never convicted him for any fraud whatsoever, despite the numerous rumors which have targeted him, and the numerous identities which he has used. : “There has never been a time when there has been, by the court of the United States, a judgment where a star was defrauded“.
