Christophe Pacalet The Marcellins Beaujolais 2021 | Bargain: a good box for a good wine

Charming on sight with its pale and brilliant color, it is even more so on the nose, with all the fruity brilliance of Gamay.

Alluring aromas of small red fruits dominate, with some notes of spices and herbs. Light, dry, it shows just as much brilliance in the mouth, with a lot of freshness. Simple, but very well made and delicious, it is proof that the container has nothing to do with quality. Congratulations to the winemaker for offering us a good everyday wine at a very good price and in a format that is so much more eco-responsible! Served chilled, it is perfect for a no-frills cuisine: charcuterie, roast chicken, steak and fries, pizza.
