His fate as PSG coach is not yet fixed, but the future of Christophe Galtier is indeed dark. This Friday, June 30, after being held in police custody, the public prosecutor announced that Christophe Galtier was “referred to the prosecution for his summons to the Nice Criminal Court on December 15, 2023”.

The press release from the public prosecutor of Nice, Xavier Bonhomme, clarifies the accusations against the man who was the coach of OGC Nice at the time, and who is accused of “heads of moral harassment and discrimination on the grounds of belonging or not, true or supposed belonging to an ethnic group, a nation, an alleged race or a determined religion.”

This summons to the Nice criminal court follows the accusations of racism which had targeted the French coach this winter. The facts would thus date back to the 2021-2022 season, at the end of which the native of Marseille had left the club to take control of Paris Saint-Germain.
