To pay a final tribute to the late rugby player, the owners of his former club have decided to make a strong gesture this Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the Saut du Loup stadium, the training ground of the French Stadium. They chose to rename it Christophe-Dominici stadium during a moving ceremony in honor of the former winger. Among his teammates at the time present at this event, Pierre Rabadan delivered a speech full of emotion. “Christophe was the embodiment of the favorable rebound, the lightning that illuminated Paris”, did he declare.
Nearly 200 people gathered in this stadium located in the Bois de Boulogne, not far from the last home of Christophe Dominici. Among the relatives of the former sportsman, his wife was therefore present, as were his two daughters and his father. “Christophe was more than a player (…) He made young people want to be like him”, said the general manager of Stade Français and former teammate of the late Dominici, Thomas Lombard.
