Christophe Dechavanne as a couple: what we know about Elena, discreet sister of a famous actress

Christophe Dechavanne is making a comeback to public service this Saturday, September 24. He joins the band of the new France 2 broadcast, What an era! with Léa Salamé and Philippe Caverivière. The show follows We are live presented for two seasons by Laurent Ruquier.

If Christophe Dechavanne has become rarer on the small screen in recent years, he is however very present alongside his wife and doctor, Elena Foïs, little sister of Marina Foïs. They spin the perfect love for six years now. It was in May 2019 that the 64-year-old host and the 42-year-old doctor formalized their relationship. That day, the father of Pauline (born in 1987), Paul-Henri (born in 1990) and Ninon (born in 1998) received from the hands of Franck Riester, then Minister of Culture, the rank of Officer of Arts and Letters at the Ministry of Culture. Earlier, in 2017, Christophe Dechavanne had slipped to Thierry Ardisson on the set of Saturday Earthlings that he had been in love for over a year.

My wife, this hero

But it was especially during the first confinement of spring 2020 that Christophe Dechavanne made his relationship with his partner Elena public. At the time, the latter suffered the full brunt of the hospital from the scale of the coronavirus epidemic in France. In an interview at Current wifethe 64-year-old host had shown his support for his companion: “I haven’t seen the woman of my life for almost three weeks. It’s a terrible loss, we live it very badly… My wife, this hero. She and her colleagues are extraordinarily self-sacrificing and courageous, even beyond that. (…) But yes, it is true in these times, the most difficult thing for me is really the lack of the woman I love. When we are not together, we are sad (…) I regret not having a white blouse to be fully by his side.

Despite this, the couple maintains a certain discretion in the spotlight. However, they allow themselves a few public appearances, in particular during the funeral of Jean-Paul Belmondo at the Invalides on September 9, 2021.
