Christophe Castaner in difficulty in his constituency

In Barcelonnette (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence), Christophe Castaner, candidate for the legislative elections in the 2nd constituency of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, has found an argument to convince voters. He targets Jean-Luc Mélenchon based on his experience as Minister of the Interior. However, his re-election as an MP in his constituency is not guaranteed. Its management of the maintenance of order during the yellow vests is thus called into question. “As Minister of the Interior, there may be things to blame him for”says a woman.

Léo Walter, candidate for the Nupes, New Popular, Ecological and Social Union, in the 2ᵉ constituency of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, defends those who have taken to the streets. “Rebellious France and now Nupes have always been at the side of those who struggle”, he says. Christophe Castaner indicates that the presidential majority embodies order and Jean-Luc Mélenchon chaos. “We must demonstrate the inability that Nupes will have to implement its project”he assures.
