Christophe Beaugrand could not be happier. He hits the mark with The Morning on LCI or Ninja warrior, which he co-hosts with Denis Brogniart and Iris Mittenaere on TF1. On the private side, the 44-year-old host is also swimming in happiness. In July 2018, he married his longtime lover Ghislain Guérin. A year later, in November 2019, the couple welcomed their very first child, adorable little Valentine born in the United States to a surrogate mother. This year, happy dads celebrate their second Christmas with their sons. And this is the first time that Christophe Beaugrand has received a Valentine’s gift!
In interview for our colleagues from Gala, the host reveals “never order gifts” to Santa Claus. “I prefer people to surprise me“, he specifies. He was served!”For the worst gift, I have two. When I was younger, an old aunt always gave me some kind of little wooden farmhouse of absolute sadness. Each time, I tried to look good. It was terrible“, remembers Christophe Beaugrand. And to continue about the other gift, “both horrible and embarrassing“ : “I received a candy thong in front of my whole family. My grandmother made a funny face because she did not really understand what it was for (laughs).“
Fortunately, since then Christophe Beaugrand received a gift from his little Valentine, and he could not have hoped for a better present. “The gift that was at the top of the best is the one that Valentin gave me at the nursery last year, he says. It’s a kind of little thing molded with his hand. This is my baby’s first real Christmas present to his daddy. Even though he’s very ugly, I love him. It is truly priceless.“It just goes to show that aesthetics are not what matters most. We hope that for this second Christmas with the family, Valentin will do even better!
