Christmas morning: Beyoncé’s childhood home ravaged by flames

Singer Beyoncé’s childhood home in Houston, Texas, caught fire on Christmas morning.

The family of the American singer bought the house at 2414 Rosedale in 1982, and lived there until the young woman was five years old, detailed the “Houston Chronicle”.

The Houston Fire Department responded around 2 a.m. to try to extinguish the blaze which was already attacking the second floor of the house.

“We had it under control in about 10 minutes,” said the Fire Department, who also assured that no one was injured and that the family was able to evacuate safely.

The house was built in 1946.
