Christine Sinclair scores in Thorns’ season opener

(Portland) The captain of the Canadian women’s team, Christine Sinclair, vibrated the ropes for a 55and once in the regular season in a 3-0 Portland Thorns win over the Kansas City Current in a curtain-raiser on Saturday.

His compatriot Janine Beckie wet the Thorns jersey for the first time in the regular season. The former Manchester City attacking midfielder stepped onto an NWSL pitch for the first time since July 21, 2018. She then wore the colors of Sky Blue FC.
