Frou Frou, free Union, We tried everything, Under the petticoats of history… The former host and TV columnist Christine Bravo has participated in one way or another in many successes on the small screen. Enough to ensure him a comfortable income? Not even ! Interviewed by the magazine Gala on the occasion of her remarriage, she revealed that her retired life is not so golden as that… Fortunately, she has love.
On June 11, 2022, Christine Bravo married for the third time, in Corsica, with her companion Stéphane Bachot. A ceremony full of emotion, with their loved ones but few VIPs, without pomp or fuss like the life led by the former TV star. So even for her wedding dress she was careful not to waste her money unnecessarily. Radine Christine? No, thrifty… but not by choice. “In my generation, the guys shared the cake on television by producing and women, who remained wage earners, did not benefit as much. I haven’t made a lot of money, I’m not rich, but whatever… I have enough to live in the Corsican maquis [elle habite à Occhiatana, en Haute-Corse, non loin de l’Ile Rousse, ndlr] and travel. Happiness is something other than money. This unexpected love, for example…“, she confides to Gala.
Already in 2018, Christine Bravo had mentioned her small retirement in the face of Thierry Ardisson, whom she held partly responsible as a producer. She asserted receive only 1,000 euros per month but the latter had specified that, of course, she had been paid a lot in cash, but generously since she had been able to buy an apartment in Paris and therefore put a roof over his head for his old age; in recent years she lived on a barge before recently moving into a beautifully renovated 17th-century Genoese mill.
Christine Bravo, who can be found as a regular resident of Big heads of RTL with Laurent Ruquier, does she have any projects? “I was offered to take over Frou Frou on TV but I’m not sure I want to. Stéphane is five years younger than me and I can’t wait for him to retire. I want to travel the world with him as soon as possible because in ten years I may find it harder to fly.“, she says.
