After the revelations about Gérard Miller made in Elle magazine, at the start of 2024, then in Mediapart, it is Élise Lucet’s magazine on France 2, “Correspondent” which looks at the case of the most famous psychoanalyst of the paf. While he hides in silence, he is targeted by six complaints for acts of sexual assault or rape. And according to Christine Bravo, who testifies to this February 29, 2024 in Le Parisien, his TV colleagues knew well that their colleague’s behavior was problematic.
“We all knew about the behavior…”
This is what she explains, assuring our colleagues: “We were all aware of Gérard’s flirtatious behavior and we openly made fun of him”. An anonymous source also tells how the one who is accused of being a predator did his “walk” in the audience of “We tried everything” which was filmed at the Moulin Rouge. While the others were in makeup, he “was always the first ready […] he was already on the set chatting with the young women in the audience. And if he realized that their mother was nearby, he would move on to another.”
Moreover, he who spends his time distributing little pieces of paper with his email address to make an appointment, has already inherited a nickname, which today seems a little more abject. His friends chastise him by calling him: “Sir, how old are you?“, assures him Parisian.
“None of us were in his office!“
However, Christine Bravo affirms, no one knew. She specifies: “none of us were in his office! I was never aware of such facts, fortunately, because I would have been rightly indignant. We have never suspected such scandalous actions.”. And to add: “If they turned out to be true, I would be truly appalled!”
And what many of Gérard Miller’s colleagues apparently feel within Ruquier’s gang. An anonymous witness indeed believes regarding the affair: “The environment is paralyzed, many people have compromised with it. The truth is that we didn’t know but we should have been alerted.”
