The victorious candidate of the popular Primary, struggling in the voting intentions, published a video message on Saturday February 19 on social networks, in which she asks her supporters for a “contribution, no matter how small”.

With only 86 endorsements to date, many in her camp are worried she won’t be able to get the signatures needed to run. The Radical Left Party, of which Christiane Taubira has long been a member, announced on Monday its “withdrawal” of the candidate’s campaign.
“This campaign, our campaign, is a citizens’ campaign” and “does not depend on fortunes, nor on the powerful, nor on any interest group”says Christiane Taubira in her message. “I therefore suggest that you add up your efforts not to give up on this campaign, so as not to give up this election as if it were lost.she continues.
