The actor, host and humorist, Christian Bégin, had to interrupt the tour of his one man show The 8 deadly sins in order to undergo an emergency operation, indicated his agency KO Scène.
“It is with regret that Christian Bégin is forced to cancel his commitments for the next few weeks. Following a recent health problem, he will have to undergo emergency surgery requiring a period of convalescence of an unknown duration at the moment.
The tour of his one man show The 8 deadly sins was of course interrupted. All performances have been suspended until June for the time being.
Christian Bégin launched his show on October 20 at Théâtre Outremont, 25 years after his last one-man show. He then embarked on a tour that took him all over Quebec.
Ticket holders for performances already scheduled “will be contacted by ticketing staff to find out what options are available to them,” the KO agency said on its transactional site.
Christian Bégin celebrated his 60th birthday on March 19.
