It’s rare to be able to stand up to people you idolize. And yet, Cyril Hanouna succeeds wonderfully … sometimes against his will. In fact, the host of TPMP evoked a hilarious anecdote on set this Monday, October 17 which followed the magneto on the star Academy. The troublemaker of the PAF and his team debriefed the first bonus of the new version of the tele-hook of TF1 giving the positive and negative points of the new program. The opportunity for him to return to a hilarious moment from a few years ago, when he rebuffed Chris Martin, leader of the group Coldplay.
“Coldplay! I’m an absolute fan of Coldplay and Chris Martin. How strong are they”, he marveled after playing the magneto of the Star Academy qui was accompanied by a track from the British pop-rock band in the background. “Hey, a darka happened to me at the start of TPMP with Chris Martin!”, remembers the host, surprising his team at the same time. Cyril Hanouna then remembers: “At the start of the show, I’m a guest on Le Gros Journal, the late Le Grand Journal. And so they invite me and… it’s the first week of TPMP, I’m a guest on Friday, and there’s a guy who keeps talking to me in boxes. I was with my right arm Louis and I said to him ‘but what has he been talking to me about since a while ago?'”.
The facilitator specifies that the “guys” in question “go on. He’s talking to me in English and I don’t understand what he’s saying to me so I tell my right arm ‘he got this one drunk! Talk to him! Tell him I don’t care fuck my balls about what he’s telling me.’ And there, I arrive on the set and they go ‘Tonight there’s Coldplay!’ And then I realize that it’s the guy from Coldplay “. A moment that the host who “loves” the group” has not forgotten but who, at the time, did not have them “seen only on the radio so here it is”to justify not having recognized them at the time.
