This appellation is more in keeping with the spirit of a Fleurie which borders it to the east than of a Morgon which adjoins it to the south because of its decomposed granite subsoil which puts finesse on the menu while offering the vigor of a mellowness rich in fruitiness. Pacalet gets the best of both worlds, with style and precision. (5+)
