CF Montreal announced on Wednesday that they have loaned striker Chinonso Offor to SV Zulte Waregem in the Belgian first division.

The loan will be in effect until June 30, 2023, but Offor intends to stay with the CFMTL, since he has also signed an agreement linking him with the club until 2024, in addition to options for the 2025 and 2026 seasons. .
Zulte will also have the option to buy Offor at the end of January.
The Nigerian international was acquired by the Montreal team on August 5 from the Chicago Fire for a general allocation of $325,000.
The 22-year-old giant-size forward has scored two goals in 14 starts and 41 games in MLS.
Before playing in North America, Offor played in the Latvian first division with FK Rigas Futbola Skola, where he scored 16 goals in 40 games.
