The Chinese military exercises that are taking place at the moment were already planned; they were not triggered by the coming of Mme Pelosi in Taiwan; on the other hand, his presence made it possible to draw more media attention to them.
It is completely unacceptable for Russia and China to behave like thugs in the face of their smaller neighbours. The People’s Republic of China has only existed since 1949; it is the result of a military conquest led by the Chinese Communist Party and a rejection of ancient Chinese culture, which manifested itself, among other things, in the excesses of the Cultural Revolution. Taiwan is a refuge for those who have chosen to resist and fight this conquest to live more freely.
