Mélanie Maynard will succeed Édith Cochrane alongside André Robitaille at the TV kids.

She will take up the post next fall, announced Wednesday Radio-Canada and Groupe Fair-Play, the production house behind the popular show, which will return for a 13and season in September.

Trained as an actress, Mélanie Maynard has played in 30 Lives, In a galaxy near you, kph and Belle Bay. As a host, she found herself at the helm of shows like Ends the week well and two girls in the morning at VAT. Since the fall of 2020, he can be heard at the microphone of WKND 99.5 Montreal. She pilots the morning show We’re going the same way! with Etienne Boulay.
Moreover, in addition to the arrival of Mélanie Maynard, another change will mark the next season of TV kids : the program will be recorded in a new setting.
The 12and season of TV kids will end next month on ICI Télé. The last original show will air on April 6. The following week, a special made up of never-before-seen moments will be presented.
Edith Cochrane held her position for eight seasons. She took office in 2014, at the same time as André Robitaille. They had been recruited to replace the tandem of the first four seasons, formed by Véronique Cloutier and Antoine Bertrand.
