At least two children were transferred to Romans hospital this Wednesday, October 12 after being bitten by hornets around 11:00 a.m. While they were participating in an inter-school crossover of 550 students in Saint-Jean-de-Muzols, organized by the Saint-Louis college in Tournons sur Rhône, they passed near a nest. Several children were bitten. Firefighters are assessing the severity of the bites. The race was stopped on the spot.
