Child presidents, quitting smoking and a talented jazz musician

Like every week, children are full of info with “Salut l’info!”, the news podcast aimed at 7-11 year olds. It is produced by franceinfo radio and the magazine Astrapi.

The expression often came up in the news this week: the issue of war crimes in Ukraine. But what does that mean and what happened? Estelle takes stock on the show this week.

In France, Sunday April 10 is the first round of the presidential election. Estelle takes the opportunity to explain how this election is going and to decipher a few somewhat complicated words for the youngest.

Some will also perhaps accompany their parents to the polling station this Sunday. And if children were presidents, what would they do? What would be their priority? We asked the question to Aden, Madeline and her little comrades. Ecology, fight against racism and cakes galore… at the microphone, they explain their program to us in this episode.

In his program, Jean, 11 years old, might have written: prohibition for parents to smoke! On the answering machine of “Salut l’info!”, he left us a message to ask us for advice to help his father quit smoking. With the support of a psychologist, the podcast gives him some tips.

Calie also called our answering machine on 01 47 79 40 00 to tell us about a book she loves. Perfect for landing at the start of the holiday, for those who are enjoying it this Friday. The title of this book that makes her laugh: L’impossible madame bébé. For fun, we can also count on a few good jokes that have a taste of the holidays.

Good listening !
