(Montreal) Sûreté du Québec (SQ) police officers are investigating the death of a 78-year-old woman in Montmagny, in the Chaudière-Appalaches region.
The police were called to the scene of a residence located on Collin Avenue, in Montmagny, Thursday morning.
“A 33-year-old man was arrested in connection with this death and is currently being met by investigators,” said Camille Savoie, spokesperson for the SQ.
Investigators from the SQ’s Crimes Against the Person Investigation Department are responsible for shedding light on the circumstances of this event.
The Forensic Identification Service will go to the scene of the death to assess the scene and analyze the elements on site.
