(Saint-Pierre-De-Broughton) A man died while operating agricultural machinery Thursday morning in Saint-Pierre-de-Broughton, in the Chaudière-Appalaches region.
The accident happened around 10:30 a.m. on the 4e Rank in the municipality of Saint-Pierre-de-Broughton.
The paramedics found him dead at the scene, said Sergeant of the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) Eric Cadotte.
According to initial information, the man fell from the mower and the machine mowed him down.
It could be that the man was unwell before falling, but the investigation will clarify the circumstances of the accident.
Forensic identification technicians were dispatched to the scene to determine the causes surrounding the death.
The investigation is continuing.
