Chaudière-Appalaches: increase in appointments for the first dose

Nearly 8,000 people were vaccinated on Wednesday, which is a record for the Chaudière-Appalaches region.

Some of these citizens are having their first experience with the vaccination against COVID-19.

“We see the demand for the first dose everywhere when we look at all of our sites (…) It is certain that in certain sectors the first dose vaccination coverage was lower, but we see a greater number of people go get a first dose,” said the director of vaccination for the CISSS of Chaudière-Appalaches Marie-Ève ​​Tanguay.

Moreover, so far for the month of January, 2500 people have sought this protection against the virus for the first time.
