(Armagh) A preschooler lost his life after being hit by a tractor on Wednesday in Armagh, near Lévis, on the south shore of Quebec.

The accident occurred around noon on the grounds of a residence located on 8and rank of this small municipality of 1500 inhabitants of Chaudière-Appalaches.
“It’s about a girl under the age of five who was hit by a farm tractor. She was seriously injured and unfortunately, later in the afternoon, her death was declared in a hospital centre, ”said Sergeant Béatrice Dorsainville, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).
The circumstances surrounding this fatal collision remained to be clarified since the family members of the child were in shock.
“A reconstructionist and an investigator went on site to clarify the exact circumstances surrounding this event,” said the spokesperson for the SQ.
The police had interrogated family members in particular during the afternoon.
The SQ investigation is continuing.
