(Sainte-Croix) A cyclist is between life and death following a collision with a vehicle in Sainte-Croix, in the Chaudière-Appalaches region.
Emergency services were called to the 4e West Range shortly after 1 p.m. According to initial reports, the impact occurred while the two were traveling eastbound.
The cyclist was seriously injured and was rushed to hospital, where his life is currently feared. The driver, a woman in her twenties, was examined by paramedics but was found to have no injuries.
A reconstructionist from the Sûreté du Québec was sent to the scene to shed light on the circumstances of the collision.
