Château Malromé, the vines of Toulouse-Lautrec. Heritage and modernity

Vinocity in partnership withThe City of Wine

the Chateau Malromé dominates the valleys of Entre-Deux-Mers. You enter it by a superb alley of Cypress trees. After major renovations, Château Malromé is today an essential place for wine tourism in the Gironde. It produces red wine (mostly) and a little white on 43 hectares. ” In 2013, the Huynh family acquired Château Malromé. It strives to preserve the heritage and respect its roots, it infuses it with an undeniable modernity while endeavoring to promote its know-how and savoir-vivre.

It is a unique castle due to its history linked to that of the artist Henri from Toulouse-Lautrec who spent his summers there and had his wine delivered to Paris. He died there in 1901 and is buried in the Verdelais cemetery. The castle has an admirable collection of works by the painter who immortalized “La goulue”. You can discover this collection during guided tours and Château Malromé also offers regular contemporary art exhibitions.

In Vinocité, we invite you to discover Château Malromé with the team that animates it today with passion. Its history, the vineyard, the gastronomy, the arts and the wine tourism program focused on well-being.
