Château Lamothe-Bergeron is nestled in the heart of the Médoc, in the town of Cussac-Fort-Médoc. This Bordeaux gem is a Cru Bourgeois that offers an immersive wine tour. If you’re wondering what happens in a vat during fermentation and want to learn all about blending Bordeaux wines, head to this wonderful property. Everything has been thought out to simply understand how wine is made. The place is open 7 days a week from April to October from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Charlotte’s favourites: the gourmet visit with a tasting of macaroons specially prepared to be eaten in perfect harmony with the wines (€18 per person, by appointment) and bacchus siestas!

For the Bacchus siestas: it is a visit then a wine tasting with carefully selected cheeses, in the middle of the estate’s huge park for a relaxed moment in the shade of the trees (€15 per adult, €5 for children with juice and cheese) Doors open on April 9 and 10 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with festivities: masterclass “decanting and introduction to tasting”, introduction to fencing, food-truck on the spot !

Charlotte routes are a big part of Charlotte! In 2009, it was the creation of the wine tourism guide that enabled many wine tourists to see the vines differently, thanks to the originality of the thematic itineraries. The last edition dates back to 2015. Since then, Charlotte has been sharing her adventures, tips and good humor on her blog Les routes de Charlotte and on social networks (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter). In 2016, she joined the team of Toutlevin.com, of which she is the editor-in-chief, a playful and uninhibited media, which simplifies the world of wine for the general public. Charlotte also provides business development.
