Château Jolys presents its new wine ranges

In 1958, Pierre-Yves Latrille bought Château Jolys and its virgin land, fascinated by the aromatic properties of the Petit and Gros Mansenget grape varieties. His ambition was to make it a plantation in AOC Jurançon, going against the current of the farmers of his time who converted the vineyards to other crops.

At the heart of the Jurançon appellation, the Domaines Latrille vineyard extends over the famous slopes of the Chapelle de Rousse. On these plots with impressive slopes, the vines of Château Jolys form amphitheatres contemplating the Pyrenees.

Over time, Château Jolys has become the largest independent property in AOC Jurancon by its surface area, but above all by the awards obtained by its cuvées. Enough to export its bottles well beyond the French borders.

A second youth

In 2019, Michel Boutin took over the Château, bringing numerous investments, a more precise viticultural vision and rigorous production methods in order to achieve a high level of quality.

The ambition is clear: to produce exceptional wines, recognized by the greatest and bring them around the world to make the beautiful region of Jurancon shine. Today, he presents his new wines, which intend to continue to make the reputation of Château Jolys.
