Château d’Amboise, agriculture on video and Vincent Dubois des Bondin’s

Welcome to Indre-et-Loire! “My France, summer“is stopping off in the city of Tours to be by your side and make the treasures of your region shine. At the microphone of Johann Guerin and Amaury Ollivier, local personalities are linked in good humor to share their best ideas for enjoying summer in the Centre-Val de Loire.

Discovering the Château d’Amboise

Imposing castle that served as a palace for the kings of France during the Renaissance, the castle of Amboise served as the burial place of Leonardo da Vinci. The castle offers a breathtaking view of the Loire Valley, especially from its gigantic balcony.

To tell us about it, Samuel Buchwalder is in “Ma France, l’été”. This castle enthusiast is at the origin of an original project: the “Centre Val de Loire Fortnite Tour”. This project aims to reproduce five castles of the Loire in the universe of the Fortnite video game in order to reach young people.

To admire the panoramic view from the castle, the organization gives you an appointment on August 13th. For those who would like to admire the stars, two astronomical picnics will take place on August 5, then on September 3.

Vincent Dubois des Bodin’s and his life in Touraine

Vincent Dubois grew up in the village of Touraine. This former cabinetmaker and then paramedic made a name for himself in the “Les Bodin’s” series. He returns to the stage with a show, “Les Bodin’s grandeur nature”, where he plays the character of Maria.

The show takes place in an extraordinary setting, in the heart of a farm reconstituted to the size of a real farm. The next performance will take place on September 9 and will end at the end of April 2023.

David Forge, the farmer who shares his daily life on Youtube

On his Youtube channel “Chaîne Agricole”, David Forge now has more than 133,000 subscribers and several million views to his credit. In 2015, he took over the family farm from his parents in Touraine, in Saint-Senoch, and decided to shoot videos every week, which he shoots with an on-board camera and a drone.
He tells us about his desire to tell and show his daily life to the most curious, in order to explain to them the phases of his work: harvest, preparation of the land, maintenance, choice of equipment.

Also find the legend of the Château de Chenonceau with Catherine de Médicis and Nostradamus, told by Caroline Darrasse, the communication director of the château.

Finally, France Bleu presents a marathon like no other that will take place in Tours on September 25, 2022.
This event wants to be eco-responsible, it will have an ecological charter as well as a plogging: a jogging where we pick up waste.
