This is one of the classics of each appearance of Charlotte of Cambridge: at 7 years old, the little princess endowed with a strong character loves grimaces! This Thursday, while taking part in the jubilee ceremonies with her mother, Kate Middleton, and her two brothers, George (8 and a half years old) and Louis (4 years old), she made a pretty face in front of the crowd and the military who paraded below.
Bothered by the noise, just like her little brother Louis who marked the day with a memorable pose, she then had fun putting her hands on her ears, well watched by her parents behind her. Earlier in the day, she greeted the crowd with them and Camilla, the wife of her grandfather Prince Charles, before enjoying the ceremony behind the large windows of the Horse Guard Parade with the other children.
We notably saw her with the daughters of Zara Tindall, Mia and Lena, to whom she seems very close, as well as with other cousins, Savannah and Isla Phillips, a little older than her. Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice were also present, as were Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, whom the little princess had not seen since their departure in 2019.
But these grimaces are not uncommon with the young Charlotte: recently, she had been seen making faces during the mass in tribute to Prince Philip, when she had just noticed that a camera was filming her. For the Easter mass, a few days later, it was his scowl that made the photographers present laugh.
